Childhood is a children´s rights organization with signficant impact on a burning issue — every child’s right to a childhood free from sexual abuse, exploitation and all forms of violence. Childhood initiates and supports different types of interventions to address and prevent child abuse and exploitation. They provide support to local organizations that develop new and innovative methods to help vulnerable children and families.

The Jan H. Stenbeck family were one of the fourteen founders of Childhood in 1999.
